Local stability of energy estimates for the Navier--Stokes equations
We study the regularity of the weak limit of a sequence of dissipative solutions to the Navier--Stokes equations when no assumptions is made on the behavior of the ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

SACR EPIDEMIC MODEL FOR THE SPREAD OF HEPATITIS B DISEASE BY CONSIDERING VERTICAL TRANSMISSION
Hepatitis B is an infectious disease that causes inflammation of the liver due to infection with the Hepatitis B virus. Hepatitis B is divided into two phases: the acute phase and the chronic phase.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Stability and Bifurcation in a Delayed Malaria Model with Threshold Control
In this paper, we develop a delayed malaria model that integrates a discrete time delay and a non-smooth threshold-based control strategy. Using the time delay τ as a bifurcation parameter, we investigate the local stability of the endemic equilibrium ...

Stabilizing Disorder-Free Localization
Disorder-free localization is a paradigm of nonergodicity in translation-invariant quantum many-body systems hosting gauge symmetries. The quench dynamics starting from simple initial states, which correspond to extensive superpositions of gauge superselection sectors, exhibits many-body localization with the system dynamically inducing its own ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Stability properties of a Cournot-type oligopoly model with time delay
The paper studies a Cournot game involving n private firms, where the firms’ interactions are analyzed in a discrete-time setting with time delay. The past production levels of other private firms have an impact on the production levels of each private ...

Stability of de Sitter Solutions in Non-local Cosmological Models
A non-local gravity model, which includes a function $f(\Box^{-1} R)$, where $\Box$ is the d'Alembert operator, is considered. For the model with an exponential $f(\Box^{-1} R)$ de Sitter solutions are explored, without any restrictions on the parameters.
