Heat Transfer Using the Local Thermal Non-Equilibrium Model
2012For an impinging jet, the flow is considered to be turbulent for \( Re > 1,000 \), where the Reynolds number is given by \( Re = \frac{{\rho \,v_{0} \,D_{h} }}{\mu } \), where \( v_{0} \) is the incoming jet velocity and \( D_{h} = B \) when calculating Re for adequate comparisons with similar simulations in the literature (see Fig. 1.2).
