Generating non-classical correlations in two-level atoms
We address the effective generation of thermal non-classical correlations in two two-level atoms when exposed to a Fock-state cavity incorporated with classical decoherence effects.

Intervention effects in clefts: a study in quantitative computational syntax
Clefts are understood as biclausal structures involving the movement of a clefted constituent from a lower clause, where it is generated, to a higher clause, where it is interpreted.

Computing with locally effective matrices [PDF]
In this work, we start from the naive notion of integer infinite matrix (i.e., the functions of the set ℤℕ × ℕ = {f: ℕ × ℕ → ℤ}). Then, several undecidability results are established, leading to a convenient data structure for effective machine computations. We call this data structure a locally effective matrix.

This talk will survey two graphical models which the authors have proposed for compactly representing single-shot, finite-action games in which a large number of agents contend for scarce resources. The first model considered is Local-Effect Games (LEGs). These games often (but not always) have pure-strategy Nash equilibria.

On the Semantics of Pronominal Clitics and some of its Consequences
Recent work on the acquisition of the binding conditions suggests that pronominal clitics (PCs) encode the presence of an unsaturated argument position. In other words, PC-constructions encode functional abstraction: the argument position related to the ...

The Principles of (Partial Locality, Partial Indeterminacy, Partial NonLocality) and (Multi Locality, Multi Indeterminacy, Multi NonLocality) [PDF]
This article introduces new neutrosophic principles aiming to extend and generalize the concepts of locality and nonlocality by addressing scenarios involving indeterminacy, together with partiality and multitude, in physics, mechanics, cosmology ...

Multi-locality in rural areas – an underestimated phenomenon
Multi-locality – a lifestyle involving living in several places – is very diverse. Involving temporary presences and absences, it can impact local communities and the environment.

LOCAL EFFECTS OF DELAYED FOOD [PDF]
Five pigeons were trained on a procedure in which seven concurrent variable‐interval schedules arranged seven different food‐rate ratios in random sequence in each session. Each of these components lasted for 10 response‐produced food deliveries, and components were separated by 10‐s blackouts.

Facilitator effects in middles and more
In this paper, I will argue that obligatory adjuncts in many languages’ middle constructions are a byproduct of an independent constraint on movement, called Anti-locality (Abels 2003; Grohmann 2003; Bošković 2007; Schneider-Zioga 2007; Erlewine 2016 ...
