Transactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1963 A locally compact group with compact boundary is a locally compact topological semigroup in which an open subgroup is dense and has a compact complement. These semigroups were studied in a previous paper whose results and notation are freely used in the present work [2].

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Locally compact, $\omega_1$-compact spaces
, 2017 An $\omega_1$-compact space is a space in which every closed discrete subspace is countable. We give various general conditions under which a locally compact, $\omega_1$-compact space is $\sigma$-countably compact, i.e., the union of countably many countably compact spaces. These conditions involve very elementary properties.
