Rigidification of higher categorical structures
Given a limit sketch in which the cones have a finite connected base, we show that a model structure of "up to homotopy" models for this limit sketch in a suitable model category can be transferred to a Quillen equivalent model structure on the category ...

Locally finitely presented categories with no flat objects [PDF]
Abstract If X is a quasi-compact and quasi-separated scheme, the category Qcoh(X) of quasi-coherent sheaves on X is locally finitely presented. Therefore categorical flat quasi-coherent sheaves in the sense of Stenström (1968) naturally arise. But there is also the standard definition of flatness in Qcoh(X) from the stalks.

The accessibility rank of weak equivalences [PDF]
We study the accessibility properties of trivial cofibrations and weak equivalences in a combinatorial model category and prove an estimate for the accessibility rank of weak equivalences.

Behavior of Quillen (co)homology with respect to adjunctions
This paper aims to answer the following question: Given an adjunction between two categories, how is Quillen (co)homology in one category related to that in the other? We identify the induced comparison diagram, giving necessary and sufficient conditions

Hopf measuring comonoids and enrichment
We study the existence of universal measuring comonoids $P(A,B)$ for a pair of monoids $A$, $B$ in a braided monoidal closed category, and the associated enrichment of a category of monoids over the monoidal category of comonoids. In symmetric categories,

More on injectivity in locally presentable categories
Let \(\mathbb{K}\) be a locally \(\lambda\)-presentable category, \({\mathcal M}\) a set of morphisms of \(\mathbb{K}\) with \(\lambda\)-presentable domains and codomains, and \({\mathcal M}\text{-Inj}\) the class of objects \(X\) of \(\mathbb{K}\) which are injective with respect to all morphisms \(h\) of \({\mathcal M}\), i.e., such that \(\Hom_ ...

Tensor products of finitely cocomplete and abelian categories
The purpose of this article is to study the existence of Deligne's tensor product of abelian categories by comparing it with the well-known ten- sor product of finitely cocomplete categories.

Lifting accessible model structures
A Quillen model structure is presented by an interacting pair of weak factorization systems. We prove that in the world of locally presentable categories, any weak factorization system with accessible functorial factorizations can be lifted along either ...

On orthogonal subcategories of locally presentable categories
The authors prove that the statement ``every full limit-closed subcategory of a locally presentable category is orthogonal'' is undecidable. It is equivalent to a large-cardinal principle. For dual categories of locally presentable categories the situation is analogous.

Locally finitely presented categories of sheaves
Let \(\mathcal{A}\) be a locally finitely presented Grothendieck category and \(\mathrm{fp}(\mathcal{A})\) the full subcategory of finitely presented objects in \(\mathcal{A}\). In the main result of the paper the author shows that if a full subcategory \(\mathcal{B}\) of \(\mathcal{A}\) is of finite type (i.e., it is equivalent to a localization in ...
