BMI‐1 modulation and trafficking during M phase in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates BMI‐1 phosphorylation during M phase, which triggers its translocation from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. In cycling cells, BMI‐1 functions within the PRC1 complex to mediate H2A K119 monoubiquitination. Following PTC596‐induced M phase arrest, phosphorylated BMI‐1 dissociates from PRC1 and is exported to the cytoplasm via its

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

A Location-Based Service Using Geometric Location Methods to Unite Mobile Users [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Systemics, Cybernetics and Informatics, 2016
Since the introduction of iPhone in 2007, many location-based services (LBSs) have been created and new LBSs are found every day. This research proposes yet another LBS, which is practical and was not found before to the best of authors' knowledge.

Design and Build a Motor Vehicle Information System App using Location Based Service in the City of Malang

open access: yesJurnal Jaringan Telekomunikasi, 2023
The service queue system at motor vehicle repair shops in Malang city is still manual, customers must find the nearest repair shop and visit the repair shop then queue for service without knowing the queue information. With a system like that, it will be

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Location-Based Services

open access: yesABC Journal of Advanced Research, 2019
In the current information technology trend, GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS (Global Positioning Systems) are potential systems providing convenient, valuable services. They are a fundamental base in location-based services (LBS). LBS is an object positioning and monitoring system with a major combination of advanced technologies such as ...
