Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Group colocation behavior in technological social networks.
We analyze two large datasets from technological networks with location and social data: user location records from an online location-based social networking service, and anonymized telecommunications data from a European cellphone operator, in order to

Place-Type Detection in Location-Based Social Networks
Determining the type of places in location-based social networks will contribute to the success of various downstream tasks such as POI recommendation, location search, automatic place name database creation, and data cleaning. In this paper, we propose a multi-objective ensemble learning framework that (i) allows the accurate tagging of places into ...

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

RcDT: Privacy Preservation Based on R-Constrained Dummy Trajectory in Mobile Social Networks
The boom of mobile devices and location-based services (LBSs) greatly enriches the mobile social network (MSN) applications, which bring convenience to our daily life and, meanwhile, raise serious privacy concerns due to the potential disclosure risk of ...

Users Location Prediction in Location-based Social Networks
The wealth of user-generated data in Location-Based Social Networks (LBSNs) has opened new opportunities for researchers to model and understand human mobile behaviour, including predicting where they are most likely to check-in next. In this paper, we propose a model that leverages the use of Global Temporal Preferences and Spatial Correlation, to ...

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...
