How and Under What Conditions Self‐Conscious Emotions Influence Word of Mouth and Decisions to Buy

open access: yesPsychology &Marketing, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Shame and pride are two self‐conscious consumer emotions that govern social behavior and can be effective gate‐ways for managerial influence. Conditions producing shame and pride are manipulated to explain how criticisms/disapproval and compliments/praise, respectively, lead to word of mouth communications and decisions to buy.

Assessment of mesh orientation, Arbitrary‐Lagrangian‐Eulerian remeshing and mass scaling in 3D finite‐element modeling of thread‐forming screw connections Bewertung der Netzausrichtung, Arbitrary‐Lagrangian‐Eulerian‐Neuvernetzung und Massenskalierung bei der 3D‐Finite‐Elemente‐Modellierung von gewindefurchenden Schraubverbindungen

open access: yesMaterialwissenschaft und Werkstofftechnik, EarlyView.
An approach to quantify the mesh quality for simulations of bolted joints with formed female threads has been conducted for different meshing strategies. Depending on mesh orientation, Arbitrary‐Lagrangian‐Eulerian remeshing and mass scaling the quotient qH was evaluated.

Thirty-five years of dermatology workforce inequality and centralization in Austria

open access: yesBMC Health Services Research
The equitable distribution of medical specialists is critical for ensuring timely access to dermatologic care. However, the long-term patterns of dermatologist allocation have not been systematically examined in Austria. This paper addresses the research

Altered Cerebrospinal Fluid Tryptophan–Kynurenine Pathway Metabolism in Multiple System Atrophy

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Alterations in tryptophan–kynurenine (TRP‐KYN) metabolism, which is associated with neuroinflammation, remain unclear in multiple system atrophy (MSA). Objective The aim was to investigate cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) TRP metabolites in MSA and their associations with other biomarkers.

Missense Variants in the A Isoform of FGF13 as a Novel Cause of Paroxysmal Dyskinesia

open access: yesMovement Disorders, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Pathogenic variants within the unique N‐terminal inactivation particle of FGF13 isoform A (FGF13A) have so far been associated only with an X‐linked dominant epileptic encephalopathy (DEE). Objective The aim was to expand the clinical and molecular spectrum of FGF13A‐related disorder.

Evaluation of Phantom Doping Materials in Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose To measure magnetic susceptibility (χ) with Quantitative Susceptibility Mapping (QSM) and evaluate its repeatability using four phantom doping materials relevant to QSM applications. Methods A cylindrical phantom was constructed containing vials of agarose gel doped with two paramagnetic materials (ferritin, USPIO) and two diamagnetic ...

Application of Non‐Isothermal Network Theory With Curved‐Channel Element Characteristics to Predict Melt Conveying in High‐Performance Single‐Screw Extruders

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a fast and accurate calculation tool to predict conveying of polymer melts in single‐screw extruders. Integrating generalized sub‐models into network theory allows to represent the complex screw shapes and material behavior more realistically. Tests on an industrial extruder show close agreement with experiments, outperforming older

Mapping the global threat of Mythimna separata (Walker) and its economic implications for Brazil's agriculture

open access: yesPest Management Science, EarlyView.
Global models identified high‐risk areas for Mythimna separata invasion, highlighting major economic vulnerability for Brazilian crops and guiding targeted prevention and management strategies. Abstract BACKGROUND Identifying high‐risk areas for the introduction of invasive alien species is particularly important for agricultural pests with a broad ...

Aligning Real‐Time Recurrence Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulations with Plant Data for the Ruhrstahl–Heraeus Degassing Process of Steel

open access: yessteel research international, EarlyView.
Uncertainties exist in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling of complex metallurgical processes, even when partly validated by laboratory experiments. rCFD enables computationally efficient prediction of long‐term RH degassing and can be adapted to vary flow conditions.
