Effects of Locoweed Intoxication on the Genital Tract of the Ram

SUMMARY Two purebred yearling rams were fed 454 Gm. of Astragalus lentiginosus (locoweed) for 42 days. At necropsy, there were enlargement of the thyroid gland, parathyroid glands, and seminal vesicles, atrophy of the testes, and a golden tan coloration of the liver and kidneys.
