Copper‐based Materials for Photo and Electrocatalytic Process: Advancing Renewable Energy and Environmental Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cu‐based catalysts as a cornerstone in advancing sustainable energy technologies are fully reviewed in this manuscript, highlighting their potential in photo‐ and electrocatalysis. It includes metallic copper, copper oxides, copper sulfides, copper halide perovskites, copper‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), and covalent organic frameworks (COFs),

Versatile Green Transfer of Magnetoelectronics with Loss‐Free Performance and High Adhesion for Interactive Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An environmentally friendly transfer printing method of nm‐thick giant magnetoresistive (GMR) sensors is demonstrated. This method, relying on water and biocompatible polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer without the need of complex treatments, allows transferring thin films to a wide range of biological, organic, and inorganic substrates.

Two Egyptian Kings, Shepseskaf and Userkaf, and a solar eclipse (2471 BC) [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Recently, arXiv published a work by G. Magli about the eclipse of 1 April 2471 BC and a supposed influence of it on the end of the fourth Egyptian dynasty and the beginning of the fifth one. In Magli's arXiv/2412.13640 paper, the eclipse is defined as the 'Shepseskaf eclipse'.

Dual Sovereignty, Federalism and National Criminal Law: Modernist Constitutional Doctrine and the Nonrole of the Supreme Court [PDF]

open access: yes, 1989
This paper examines the growing movement away from the functional nature of federalism contained within the Constitution toward a federalist system that gives extensive discretion to Congress and is only limited by political checks. This political system

Built‐In Electric Field in 2D/2D LDH/Antimonene Heterostructure to Induce Stable β‐NiOOH at Ultralow Potential for Cost‐Effective Water Electrolysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this paper, a built‐in electric field (BEF) strategy is proposed to fabricate NiFe‐LDH/antimonene heterostructure as bifunctional electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The formed BEF generates a local potential that reduces the potential for the formation of β‐NiOOH, thereby enabling ultra‐low ...

35 bis.

open access: yesEspacesTemps.net, 2008
