Diversity of Pharmaceuticals Enhances Antibiotic Resistance in the Invertebrate Gut via Biofilm‐Mediated Mechanisms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pharmaceutical diversity acts as an independent driver of antibiotic resistance in soil invertebrates. While bulk soil remains unaffected, the collembolan gut microbiome exhibits significant resistance gene enrichment under complex chemical exposure and diurnal warming.

Theoretical Research of the Modification of Cycloidal Gear Used in High Precision RV Reducer

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2018
The second-order logarithmic superposition of modification quantity along the normal direction to the theory of conjugate tooth profile of cycloid gear of RV reducer is carried out,the cycloid tooth profile equation after the modification is deduced.

Recurrence Coefficients for Orthogonal Polynomials with a Logarithmic Weight Function

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications
We prove an asymptotic formula for the recurrence coefficients of orthogonal polynomials with orthogonality measure $\log \bigl(\frac{2}{1-x}\bigr) {\rm d}x$ on $(-1,1)$. The asymptotic formula confirms a special case of a conjecture by Magnus and extends earlier results by Conway and one of the authors.

Chloride transport modeling for normal and fly-ash concrete using naturally logarithmic apparent diffusion coefficient with considering eutrophication potential effect

open access: yes
This study indicates two issues of available time-dependent diffusion coefficient function; non-smoothness of diffusion coefficient decay, and inconsistency of stable time of diffusion coefficient.

Tetrastigma Hemsleyanum Polysaccharide Suppresses Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer by Disrupting the Hippo‐YAP/TEAD4‐PDIA4 Axis and Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Adaptation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) exhibits addiction to chronic endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, which sustains an aggressive metastatic phenotype through activation of the unfolded protein response (UPR). Here, we identify a previously unrecognized “ER‐stress addiction” axis in which the Hippo pathway effector TEAD4 directly ...

Noninvasive evaluation of the elasticity of common carotid artery wall

open access: yesArchives of Acoustics, 2014
The elasticity of common carotid arteries was examined on the basis of noninvasive ultrasonic measurements of the diameter of the carotid artery and the systlic and diastolic pressures as determined by a cuff on the brachial artery. The measurements were

Time‐Multiplexed Organic Electrochemical Transistor for Saliva‐Based Rapid Detection of Viral Proteins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A time‐multiplexed nanobody‐functionalized organic electrochemical transistor enables rapid and sensitive detection of three respiratory viral proteins from saliva. Sequentially addressed multi‐gate electrodes on a shared channel achieve around 1 fm detection within 15 min without sample preprocessing. Clinical validation demonstrates high specificity,

SECOND-HANKEL DETERMINANT OF LOGARITHMIC COEFFICIENTS OF CERTAIN ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics
We consider a family of all analytic and univalent functions (i.e., one-to-one) in the unit disk $\mathbb{D}:=\{z\in \mathbb{C}:|z|<1\}$ of the form $f(z)=z+a_2z^2+a_3z^3+\cdots$. In this paper, we obtain the sharp bounds of the second Hankel determinant of Logarithmic coefficients for some subclasses of analytic functions.

Normal forms of parabolic logarithmic transseries

open access: yes
We give formal normal forms for parabolic logarithmic transseries $f=z+\dots $, with respect to parabolic logarithmic normalizations. Normalizations are given algorithmically, using fixed point theorems, as limits of Picard's sequences in appropriate ...

Tumor‐Derived Alpha‐1 Antitrypsin Promotes Liver Metastasis of Colorectal Cancer Through the Neutrophil Extracellular Traps–CCDC25 Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Liver metastasis is a leading cause of mortality in colorectal cancer (CRC), where the inflammatory tumor microenvironment, specifically neutrophil infiltration, significantly promotes metastatic colonization. This study reveals a pro‐metastatic role for alpha‐1 antitrypsin (A1AT) in CRC liver metastasis via a dual mechanism involving ...
