LOGARITHMIC COEFFICIENTS PROBLEMS IN FAMILIES RELATED TO STARLIKE AND CONVEX FUNCTIONS [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2018
Let ${\mathcal{S}}$ be the family of analytic and univalent functions $f$ in the unit disk $\mathbb{D}$ with the normalization $f(0)=f^{\prime }(0)-1=0$, and let $\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FE}_{n}(f)=\unicode[STIX]{x1D6FE}_{n}$ denote the logarithmic ...

GAD65 Antibody ELISA With Extended Reportable Range: Validation and Guidance for Neurological Practice

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

New Results for Some Generalizations of Starlike and Convex Functions

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2020
The purpose of the current paper is to investigate several various problems for the categories STLs,SNe∗, and other related categories such as various new outcomes for the coefficients of f, together with majorization issues, the Hankel determinant, and ...

A Thermodynamic 3D Model for the Simulation of Diffusion‐Controlled Alloying Processes in Heterogeneous Material Structures

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical model resulting from irreversible thermodynamics for describing transport processes is introduced, focusing on thermodynamic activity gradients as the actual driving force for diffusion. Implemented in CUDA C++ and using CalPhaD methods for determining the necessary activity data, the model accurately simulates interdiffusion in aluminum ...

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Logarithmic Coefficients and Generalized Multifractality of Whole-Plane SLE [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 2017
We consider the whole-plane SLE conformal map f from the unit disk to the slit plane, and show that its mixed moments, involving a power p of the derivative modulus |f'| and a power q of the map |f| itself, have closed forms along some integrability curves in the (p,q) moment plane, which depend continuously on the SLE parameter kappa.

Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...

Sharp Bounds on Hankel Determinant of q-Starlike and q-Convex Functions Subordinate to Secant Hyperbolic Functions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
In the present paper, using the q-difference operator, we introduce two classes of q-starlike functions and q-convex functions subordinate to secant hyperbolic functions. As functions in these classes have unique characteristic of missing coefficients on

Area law of connected correlation function in higher dimensional conformal field theory

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
We present a new area law which is associated with the correlator of OPE blocks in higher dimensional conformal field theories (CFTs). The area law shows similar behaviour as black hole entropy or geometric entanglement entropy.

Tandem Recurrence Relations for Coefficients of Logarithmic Frobenius Series Solutions about Regular Singular Points

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
We enhance Frobenius’ method for solving linear ordinary differential equations about regular singular points. Key to Frobenius’ approach is the exploration of the derivative with respect to a single parameter; this parameter is introduced through the ...
