Logarithmic derivatives of solutions to linear differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2004
Given an ordinary differential field K K of characteristic zero, it is known that if y y and 1 / y 1/y satisfy linear differential equations with coefficients in K K , then y ′ /

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Smooth transition from sudden to adiabatic states in heavy-ion fusion reactions at deep-subbarrier incident energies

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2011
We propose a novel extension of the standard coupled-channel (CC) model in order to account for the steep falloff of fusion cross sections at deep-subbarrier incident energies.

NanoMOF‐Based Multilevel Anti‐Counterfeiting by a Combination of Visible and Invisible Photoluminescence and Conductivity

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

COMPUTER-EFFICIENT BINOMINAL MODEL OF DEFAULT DISTRIBUTION

open access: yesВестник Российского экономического университета имени Г. В. Плеханова, 2017
The analysis of default correlation is especially acute in conditions of the current finance crisis. The article discusses examples of using the binominal model of default distribution in certain cases. The author formulated and proved the equation about

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Understanding and Tuning Mobile Interfaces in Ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 Thin Films in Relation to Microstructure

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectricity in thin HfO2‐based films offers great possibilities for next‐generation neuromorphic memory devices. There, the response to subcoercive voltage signals is driven by the movement of mobile interfaces and their interaction with crystal defects – a yet rather unexplored aspect, which we shed light on and gain new insights into the complex

The Use of Logarithmic Transformation and Numerical Derivatives for Business Performance Data

open access: yesMalaysian Management Journal, 1995
The value of plotting business performance data over time on a semi-logarithmic graph has been advocated, but in a somewhat offhand and intuitive way. While examples have been discussed, no mathematical justification has been. given.

Logarithmic residues and sums of idempotents in the Banach algebra generated by the compact operators and the identity. [PDF]

open access: yes
A logarithmic residue is a contour integral of the (left or right) logarithmic derivative of an analytic Banach algebra valued function. Logarithmic residues are intimately related to sums of idempotents.
