Quantum Anomalies and Logarithmic Derivatives

open access: yes, 2016
This papers deals with connections between quantum anomalies and transformations of Feynman pseudo-measures. Mathematical objects related to the notion of the volume element in an infinite-dimensional space considered in the physics literature are considered and disagreement in the related literature regarding the origin of quantum anomalies is ...

EBSD Study of Creep‐Induced Lattice Misorientation in MgO‐Particle‐Reinforced Austenitic Steel Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

Asymptotic vacua with higher derivatives

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We study limits of vacuum, isotropic universes in the full, effective, four-dimensional theory with higher derivatives. We show that all flat vacua as well as general curved ones are globally attracted by the standard, square root scaling solution at ...

Logarithmic Derivations of Adjoint Discriminants

open access: yes, 2023
We exhibit a relationship between projective duality and the sheaf of logarithmic vector fields along a reduced divisor $D$ of projective space, in that the push-forward of the ideal sheaf of the conormal variety in the point-hyperplane incidence, twisted by the tautological ample line bundle is isomorphic to logarithmic differentials along $D$.

Quantum anomalies and logarithmic derivatives of feynman pseudomeasures [PDF]

open access: yesDoklady Mathematics, 2015
The authors summarize the contents of this paper in the abstract of the paper as follows; Connections between quantum anomalies and transformations of pseudomeasures of the type of Feynman pseudomeasures are studied. Mathematical objects related to the notion of the volume element in an infinite-dimensional space considered in the physics literature ...

A Numerical–Experimental Approach for Multi‐Matrix Fiber‐Reinforced Plastics Characterization Using Finite Element Model Updating

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Some weaker sufficient conditions of $L$-index boundedness in direction for functions analytic in the unit ball

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2019
We partially reinforce some criteria of $L$-index boundedness in direction for functions analytic in the unit ball. These results describe local behavior of directional derivatives on the circle, estimates of maximum modulus, minimum modulus of analytic ...

Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Power Geometry and Elliptic Expansions of Solutions to the Painlevé Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider an ordinary differential equation (ODE) which can be written as a polynomial in variables and derivatives. Several types of asymptotic expansions of its solutions can be found by algorithms of 2D Power Geometry.

One-loop divergences in 7D Einstein and 6D conformal gravities

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The aim of this note is to unveil a striking equivalence between the one-loop divergences in 7D Einstein and 6D Conformal Gravities. The particular combination of 6D pointwise Weyl invariants of the 6D Conformal Gravity corresponds to that of Branson’s Q-
