An Algorithm for Solving Phase-Lag Nonlinear Mixed Integral Equation With Discontinuous Generalized Kernel

open access: yesAdvances in Mathematical Physics
In this work, a nonlinear fractional integrodifferential equation (NFIo-DE) with discontinuous generalized kernel in position and time is explored in space L2Ω×C0,T ...

The Law of the Iterated Logarithm for the Error Distribution Estimator in First-Order Autoregressive Models

open access: yesAxioms
This paper investigates the asymptotic behavior of kernel-based estimators for the error distribution in a first-order autoregressive model with dependent errors. The model assumes that the error terms form an α-mixing sequence with an unknown cumulative

Gleaning the Rocky Shore? 2500 Years of Coastal Resource Use at Red Bluff 1, GunaiKurnai Country, SE Australia

open access: yesArchaeology in Oceania, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Shell middens in Gippsland along the eastern half of Victoria's coastline have usually been characterised as small, short‐duration camp sites with relatively low shell densities and low taxonomic diversity. Here we present new excavation results from a dense, high‐diversity site at Red Bluff near the eastern end of GunaiKurnai Country, a ...

A compendium of logarithmic corrections in AdS/CFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study the logarithmic corrections to various CFT partition functions in the context of the AdS4/CFT3 correspondence for theories arising on the worldvolume of M2-branes.

From Ecosystem Threats to Balance Sheets: Biodiversity Risks Exposure and Corporate Cash Policies

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study investigates how firms strategically respond to biodiversity risk by examining their cash holding decisions. Using firm‐level data from China, we find that firm‐level biodiversity risk exposure significantly increases corporate cash holdings.

Mixed type of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation

open access: yesLe Matematiche, 2005
In this paper, under certain conditions, the solution of mixed type of Fredholm-Volterra integral equation is discussed and obtained in the space L_2 (−1, 1) × C[0, T ], T < ∞.

Funding Costs and Liquidity Creation: Does ESG Play Any Role?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how banks' funding costs affect liquidity creation and whether environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance shapes this relationship. Using panel data for 136 U.S. commercial banks from 2005 to 2022, we show that higher funding costs are associated with lower liquidity creation, indicating that more expensive ...

One dimensional estimates for the Bergman kernel and logarithmic capacity

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 2018
Carleson showed that the Bergman space for a domain on the plane is trivial if and only if its complement is polar. Here we give a quantitative version of this result. One is the Suita conjecture, established by the first-named author in 2012, the other is an upper bound for the Bergman kernel in terms of logarithmic capacity.

Innovation‐Led Sustainability in the Agri‐Food Sector: Evidence From the Global Food and Beverage Industry

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The agri‐food sector is vital to economic development, but it exerts significant environmental and social pressures. This study draws on the natural resource‐based view. It investigates the strategic sustainability‐performance nexus in the global food and beverage industry using a longitudinal dataset (2013–2023) of 633 firms across the EU ...

Global existence and decay of a viscoelastic wave equation with logarithmic source under acoustic, fractional, and nonlinear delay conditions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
This study is concerned with a nonlinear viscoelastic wave equation with logarithmic source term. By considering the nonlinear distributed delay feedback influenced by acoustic and fractional boundary conditions at the boundary coupling, we establish the
