This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

A separation of some Seiffert-type means by power means
Consider the identric mean \(\mathcal{I}\), the logarithmic mean \(\mathcal{L,}\) two trigonometric means defined by H. J. Seiffert and denoted by \(\mathcal{P}\) and \(\mathcal{T,}\) and the hyperbolic mean \(\mathcal{M}\) defined by E.

A SIMPLE PROOF OF THE DAMASCUS INEQUALITY
The article is devoted to the presentation of a new proof of the so-called Damascus inequality, formulated in 2016 by Fozi M. Dannan, Professor of the Department of Fundamental Sciences of the Arab International University (Damascus, Syria).

Stolarsky Means in Many Variables
We give in this article two possible explicit extensions of Stolarsky means to the multi-variable case. They attain all main properties of Stolarsky means and coincide with them in the case of two variables.

Impact of long-range interactions on the disordered vortex lattice
The interaction between the vortex lines in a type-II superconductor is mediated by currents. In the absence of transverse screening this interaction is long-ranged, stiffening up the vortex lattice as expressed by the dispersive elastic moduli.

Nuclear Polarizabilities and Logarithmic Sum Rules [PDF]
The electric polarizability and logarithmic mean-excitation energy are calculated for the deuteron using techniques introduced in atomic physics. These results are then used to improve limits on the atomic-deuterium frequency shift due to nuclear ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

On total inelastic cross-sections and the average depth of the maximum of extensive air showers
The model dependence of the development of extensive air showers generated by high-energy cosmic-ray particles in the atmosphere is studied. The increase of proton-proton and proton-air inelastic cross-sections and values for the elasticity are varied in
