This study reports lightweight polyetherimide triply periodic minimal surfaces lattices coated with carbon nanotube‐reinforced epoxy that combine mechanical robustness with self‐sensing. The conformal coating enhances stiffness, strength and energy absorption while enabling reliable strain monitoring.

Matrix completion by singular value thresholding: sharp bounds
We consider the matrix completion problem where the aim is to esti-mate a large data matrix for which only a relatively small random subset of its entries is observed.

Logarithmic Sobolev inequalities and the growth of 𝐿^{𝑝} norms [PDF]
We show that many of the recent results on exponential integrability of Lip 1 functions, when a logarithmic Sobolev inequality holds, follow from more fundamental estimates of the growth of L p L^{p} norms under the same hypotheses.

Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...

Optimal Sup-norm Rates and Uniform Inference on Nonlinear Functionals of Nonparametric IV Regression
This paper makes several important contributions to the literature about nonparametric instrumental variables (NPIV) estimation and inference on a structural function $h_0$ and its functionals.

Numerical Modeling of Tank Cars Carrying Hazardous Materials With and Without Composite Metal Foam
Large‐scale puncture models consisting of hazardous materials (HAZMATs) tank car with protective steel–steel composite metal foam (S–S CMF) are solved numerically. Tank car plate with added 10.91–13.33 mm thick S–S CMF layer does not puncture. Protective S–S CMF absorbs impact energy, reduces plate deformation, and prevents shear bands formation ...

Norm convergence of logarithmic means on unbounded Vilenkin groups
It is proved that if a sequence \((m_n)\) satisfies the condition \[ \sup_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\;\frac{\ln^2 m_1+\dots+\ln^2 m_n}{\ln m_1+\dots+\ln m_n}

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Influence of Test Temperature and Test Frequency on Fatigue Life of Aluminum Alloy EN AW‐2618A
The influence of test temperature and test frequency on the fatigue life of EN AW‐2618A is investigated. High‐cycle fatigue tests are performed at different test temperatures and frequencies on the 1000 h/230°C overaged state. Both test parameters reduce fatigue life due to time‐dependent damage mechanisms.
