Local existence for class of nonlinear higher-order wave equation with logarithmic source term
The purpose of this work is to establish the local existence for a class of higher-order logarithmic wave equation with memory term. The local existence result was established by means of Faedo-Galerkin technique and Logarithmic Sobolev inequality.

Comparative Analysis of Source Term Removal at Cook Nuclear Plant [PDF]
Research was conducted on the effectiveness of colloid mitigation at the Cook Nuclear Plant located in Bridgman, Michigan. Specialty resin was employed to remove Cobalt-60 CRUD and other contaminates from the primary coolant piping and fuel cladding ...

Building machine‐readable vocabularies for materials science is slow, expert‐driven work. This study benchmarks 13 large language models on two of its first steps: finding candidate terms in engineering articles and deciding where they belong in a class hierarchy.

Existence and stability results of nonlinear swelling equations with logarithmic source terms
<p>We considered a swelling porous-elastic system characterized by two nonlinear variable exponent damping and logarithmic source terms. Employing the Faedo-Galerkin method, we established the local existence of weak solutions under suitable assumptions on the variable exponents functions.

A novel workflow for investigating hydride vapor phase epitaxy for GaN bulk crystal growth is proposed. It combines Design of experiments (DoE) with physical simulations of mass transport and crystal growth kinetics, serving as an intermediate step between DoE and experiments.

Scandium (Sc)‐doped AlCoCrFeMo HEA coatings are fabricated via flame spraying with 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 wt% Sc additions. Among these, the HEA‐Sc0.3 coating exhibits the highest corrosion resistance, indicated by a more positive corrosion potential and lower current density.

Schematic representation of modes of microcrack nucleation, growth and temporary arrestment at different boundaries, with the criteria for crack propagation in three scenarios: (1) large notch, (2) defect/small sharp notch, and (3) long crack. This work revisits and integrates results on the fatigue behavior of advanced bainitic steels (in particular ...

Exponential Decay of Solutions for a Higher Order Wave Equation with Logarithmic Source Term
In this paper, we consider a class of nonlinear higher-order wave equation with logarithmic source and waek damping term u tt + (−Δ) m u+u+ u t =uln | u | k in a bounded domain Ω ⊂ R 3 . We establish a exponential decay of solutions.
