Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

Research on attenuation rate correlation calibration method based on acoustic variable density logging

open access: yesScientific Reports
In order to solve the problem of logging calibration without a free pipe in the process of acoustic variable density logging and the subjective problem of the free pipe calibration method, this paper studies an attenuation rate calibration method based ...

Research on Key Technology for Perforating 10 000-Metre Deep-Earth Exploration Wells

open access: yesCejing jishu
The 10 000-metre deep-earth exploration well shoulders the major tasks of scientific exploration and oil and gas discovery, and has far-reaching significance in the field of ultra-deep oil and gas exploration. In the process of perforating and completing

Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Log Evaluation Method and Application of Shale Oil Reservoir in Bongor Basin

open access: yesCejing jishu
The evaluation of the main shale oil reservoir in the Baobab block of the Bongor basin, Chad, is insufficient, and a comprehensive method for shale oil resource evaluation is urgently needed.

Plasma extrachromosomal circular DNA as a biomarker in EGFR‐targeted therapy of non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detection of extrachromosomal circular DNA (eccDNA) in plasma samples from EGFR‐mutated non‐small cell lung cancer patients. Plasma was collected before and during treatment with the EGFR‐tyrosine kinase inhibitor osimertinib. Plasma eccDNA was detected in all cancer samples, and the presence of the EGFR gene on eccDNA serves as a potential biomarker ...

Application Status and Development Prospect of Coil Tubing Based on Logging Technology

open access: yesCejing jishu
With the further development of unconventional oil and gas, the application of coiled tubing in logging has gradually increased, but it still faces challenges such as overlap between logging operations and downhole operations, unclear application ...

Reduced vascular leakage correlates with breast carcinoma T regulatory cell infiltration but not with metastatic propensity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A mouse model for vascular normalization and a human breast cancer cohort were studied to understand the relationship between vascular leakage and tumor immune suppression. For this, endothelial and immune cell RNAseq, staining for vascular function, and immune cell profiling were employed.

Development and Application of Ultra High Strength Cable forDeep Ten Thousand Meter Wells

open access: yesCejing jishu
In response to the challenges of high tension and ultra long signal transmission faced by cable logging in deep 10 000-meter wells, this article adopts a combination of theoretical design, data analysis, and experimental testing.

Improving PARP inhibitor efficacy in bladder cancer without genetic BRCAness by combination with PLX51107

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Clinical trials on PARP inhibitors in urothelial carcinoma (UC) showed limited efficacy and a lack of predictive biomarkers. We propose SLFN5, SLFN11, and OAS1 as UC‐specific response predictors. We suggest Talazoparib as the better PARP inhibitor for UC than Olaparib.
