Accurate dynamic power estimation for CMOS combinational logic circuits with real gate delay model
Dynamic power estimation is essential in designing VLSI circuits where many parameters are involved but the only circuit parameter that is related to the circuit operation is the nodes’ toggle rate. This paper discusses a deterministic and fast method to

On Symmetric Circuits and Fixed-Point Logics [PDF]
We study properties of relational structures such as graphs that are decided by families of Boolean circuits. Circuits that decide such properties are necessarily invariant to permutations of the elements of the input structures.

Local Thermal Conductivity Patterning in Rotating Lattice Crystals of Anisotropic Sb2S3
Microscale control of thermal conductivity in Sb2S3 is demonstrated via laser‐induced rotating lattice crystals. Thermal conductivity imaging reveals marked thermal transport anisotropy, with the c axis featuring amorphous‐like transport, whereas in‐plane directions (a, b) exhibit 3.5x and 1.7x larger thermal conductivity.

A probabilistic approach to analyse the evolutionary process in circuit design [PDF]
One of the actual problems in the evolvable hardware is the evolvability of logic circuits. In order to understand better the nature of existing problem, the probabilistic analysis can be used.

Pseudo-Boolean Logic Circuits [PDF]
Summary: A new class of switch-level logic circuits intended for modeling digital MOS VLSI circuits is presented. These circuits, which are called pseudo-Boolean, are composed of a single (voltage) source, connectors, switches, attenuators, and wells. The latter two devices are digital versions of resistors and capacitors, respectively, and may assume ...
