Quantum Gates to Implement the Reversible Logic Circuits

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences, 2017
Quantum gates which are represented by unitary matrices have potentials to implement the reversible logic circuits. M and M+ gates are two well-known quantum gates which are used to synthesize the reversible logic circuits.

Extrinsic evolution of finite state machine

open access: yes, 2002
The paper outlines the use of the extrinsic evolvable hardware approach to evolve finite state machines (FSM). Both the genetic algorithm (GA) and Evolvable Hardware (EHW) are combined together to produce optimal logic circuit. GA is used to optimise the

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

Area and Device Count Efficient Binary Logic Circuits using Anti‐Ambipolar Switch Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials
The unique characteristics of an anti‐ambipolar switch (AAS) device exhibit Λ‐shaped transfer responses (namely delta conductance) and present unique opportunities to overcome the limit of silicon‐based, complementary metal‐oxide‐semiconductor (CMOS ...

LOT: Logic Optimization with Testability - new transformations for logic synthesis

open access: yes, 1998
A new approach to optimize multilevel logic circuits is introduced. Given a multilevel circuit, the synthesis method optimizes its area while simultaneously enhancing its random pattern testability.

Ion‐Reconfigurable “N”‐Shaped Antiambipolar Behavior in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A unique N‐shaped negative differential transconductance (NDT) characteristics is demonstrated in single‐polymer organic electrochemical transistors through a sequential doping–redox–doping process driven by iodide ions. This redox‐driven mechanism enables low‐voltage, ion‐controlled reconfigurability and tunable current modulation, allowing seamless ...

A novel genetic algorithm for evolvable hardware

open access: yes, 2006
Evolutionary algorithms are used for solving search and optimization problems. A new field in which they are also applied is evolvable hardware, which refers to a self-configurable electronic system.

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Rapid single-flux-quantum and adiabatic quantum-flux-parametron cell libraries using a 1 kA/cm2 niobium fabrication process

open access: yesScientific Reports
Superconductor logic families can operate with small power dissipation and are thus suitable as building blocks for various computing systems. In some applications, superconductor logic circuits should be designed using Josephson junctions with low I c ...
