Abstract A new logic scheme called recursive logic is proposed, which is different from the widely accepted logics: deductive logic, inductive logic and abductive logic. It is suggested that recursive logic is the logic of design. The rationality of this proposal is then discussed based on the investigation of the facets of design activity.

Effective Logic Synthesis for Threshold Logic Circuit Design
IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2019This paper presents a novel and effective logic synthesis flow able to identify threshold logic functions during the technology mapping process. It provides more efficient logic covering, exploring also redundant cuts.

Logic Design on Mirrored Memristive Crossbars
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems - II - Express Briefs, 2018This brief presents a hybrid CMOS-memristor logic design and implementation method on a novel mirrored crossbar architecture. The proposed structure supports in-memory computation and needs only one computational step to perform basic Boolean expressions.

Logical design of macromodules
Proceedings of the April 18-20, 1967, spring joint computer conference on - AFIPS '67 (Spring), 1967The macromodules being developed at Washington University are logical building blocks which can be inserted into a special frame and inter-connected by standardized cables to form digital computing systems of any desired complexity. The logical design of these modules is fraught with many problems, some of which yield easily to standard design ...
