Stability and Bifurcations in a Discrete-Time Eco-Evolutionary Logistic Model
In this paper I study a two-dimensional discrete-time evolutionary logistic-type model describing the coupled dynamics of population density and a continuously evolving trait.

Hopf bifurcation of an age-structured HIV infection model with logistic target-cell growth
In this paper, we investigate an age-structured HIV infection model with logistic growth for target cell. We rewrite the model as an abstract non-densely defined Cauchy problem and obtain the condition which guarantees the existence of the unique ...

Planktic foraminiferal diversity: logistic growth overprinted by a varying environment [PDF]
This study statistically assesses the relationship between the planktic foraminiferal long-term diversity pattern (~170 Ma to Recent) and four major paleobiological diversification models: (i) the ‘Red Queen’ (Van Valen, 1973; Raup et al., 1973), (ii ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Decomposing CO2 emissions data into a pair of logistic growth pulses
Numerous scenarios of emissions growth presume that it can not grow infinitely: there are certain limits that may not or must not be exceeded. Applying the theory of pulsing logistic growth, I detected two pulses of logistic growth.

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.
