Reverse logistics sourcing models with multiproduct reliability constraints

International Journal of Modelling in Operations Management, 2013
We consider a multiproduct sourcing problem where each finished product must meet explicit reliability requirements. The critical reliability of each product is determined by its components, and the objective is to source the components at a minimum cost from a combination of new and used sources while ensuring each product meets its critical ...

A diffusive logistic equation with concentrated and nonlocal sources

Mathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, 2017
In this paper, we study a reaction‐diffusion equation where nonlinear memory and concentration effects are considered at the same time. We are specially concerned with the local solvability of this problem for singular initial data in Lebesgue spaces. We also analyze the vanishing concentration problem and prove a blow‐up alternative.
