‘Grasslands Moata’ tetraploid Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorumLam.)

New Zealand Journal of Experimental Agriculture, 1981
Abstract The breeding and development of ‘Grasslands Moata’ tetraploid Italian ryegrass are described, and results are presented of spaced plant, mowing, and grazing evaluations conducted by Grasslands Division at Palmerston North and at regional stations.

A Method for in Vitro Storage of Lolium multiflorum Lam

Annals of Botany, 1980
A means of storing Lolium multiflorum Lam. stock plants in vitro has been developed over a period of three years. Various expiants and culture conditions were examined. Shoot tips 0*3-0*9 mm long were found to be best for establishing storage cultures because they gave a high yield of plantlets in culture and important pathogens are eliminated. For sub-

Salinity and pH stress on Lolium multiflorum Lam. germination

2013
Direct spreading on agricultural lands of olive mill wastewaters (OMWs) may represent an environmentally friendly disposal method. In the olive oil-producing Mediterranean regions OMWs spreading on soil represents a simple and cheap alternative to detoxification techniques that result in final waste discharge into natural water bodies (Barbera et al ...

Mechanism of diclofop resistance in an Italian ryegrass (Lolium multiflorum Lam.) biotype

Pesticide Biochemistry and Physiology, 1992
Abstract The biochemical basis for diclofop resistance in an Italian ryegrass ( Lolium multiflorum Lam.) biotype discovered in Oregon was examined. Herbicide rates that inhibited shoot growth by 50% (GR 50 values) were determined for two aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid herbicides (diclofop, haloxyfop) and one cyclohexanedione herbicide (sethoxydim ...
