EFFECT OF LONG-TERM FERTILIZATION ON THE AVAILABLE TOXIC ELEMENT CONTENT OF DIFFERENT SOILS [PDF]
The National Long-Term Fertilization Trials were set up more than 30 years ago and in that time soil and water protection and environmental relations of fertilization had not been the direct aim of research.

Plant–microbe networks in soil are weakened by century‐long use of inorganic fertilizers
Summary Understanding the changes in plant–microbe interactions is critically important for predicting ecosystem functioning in response to human‐induced environmental changes such as nitrogen (N) addition.

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Fluorescence Characteristics of Humic Acid in Chinese Black Soil under Long-Term Fertilization
Humic substances are important indicators of soil fertility. The fluorescence properties of humic acids from black soils in Harbin, northeast China, were investigated, after long-term fertilization using treatments with or without mineral fertilizer (NPK)

Effects of long-term fertilization on glycosidase and phosphomonoesterase activities in black soil
Surface soil (0-20 cm) samples were collected from a 25 years fertilization experimental field to study the effects of different fertilization practices on the activities of glycosidase (α-, β-glucosidase and α-, β-galactosidase) and acid-and alkaline ...
