Technical Feasibility Study of Autonomous Field Robot‐Based on‐the‐go Assessment of Soil Nutrients Using Ion‐Sensitive Field‐Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Autonomous field robots equipped with ISFET‐based sensors enable rapid, spatially resolved soil nutrient analysis directly in the field. An automated system based on the BoniRob platform is presented for standardized on‐site extraction and measurement of key macronutrients and soil pH.

Effects of two decades of organic and mineral fertilization of arable crops on earthworms and standardized litter decomposition

open access: yesDie Bodenkultur, 2018
Organic fertilization has been shown to benefit soil biota. A field experiment was established in 1991 at the AGES experimental research station Ritzlhof to investigate the effects of long-term fertilization on soil biota and crop yields.

Impact of long-term organic and mineral fertilization on lucerne forage yield over an 8-year period

open access: yesPlant, Soil and Environment, 2016
Effects of direct fertilization on lucerne (Medicago sativa L.)forage yield have been widely investigated;however there is a lack of published studies investigating the long-term effect of indirect application of mineral and organic fertilization.

Kinetics of soil β-glucosidase under long-term fertilization

open access: yes浙江大学学报. 农业与生命科学版, 2008
The kinetic characteristics of β-glucosidase were studied in a black soil and a brown soil with long-term fertilization. It was found that the enzymatic reaction of soil β-glucosidase followed first-order kinetics.

Inhibition of IGFBP4 in Granulosa Cells Improves Reproductive Performance and Maintains Fertility With Age via YAP Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 is upregulated in granulosa cells of aged ovaries across monkeys, mice, and humans. It inhibits YAP signaling, thereby suppressing cell proliferation and contributing to follicular dysfunction. Deletion of Igfbp4 in granulosa cells enhances ovulatory output, improves hormone profiles, and reproductive performance in aged female mice, suggesting ...

A Pentaradial and Bilateral Combined Photoreception System in the Sea Cucumber is Mediated by a Blue Light‐Sensitive R‐Opsin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The sea cucumber Holothuria leucospilota detects blue and adjacent wavelengths of light via an r‐opsin with a maximum absorption at 459 nm. In the oral tentacles, papillae, and tube feet, distinct light‐sensing structures with specialized morphologies are formed, constituting a unique pentaradial and bilateral combined photoreception system.
