2016 IEEE 6th International Conference on Photonics (ICP), 2016We propose an optical fiber sensor for detecting the liquid level and position with long-period fiber gratings (LPFGs) based on the mechanical deformation. We investigate the applied weight dependence of resonance loss of LFPGs in the 850nm wavelength range.
