Finite Elements Analysis on the Impact Absorption Behavior of Composite Vehicle Longeron
Advanced Materials Research, 2011In this paper, an experimental model was built in the nonlinear finite element software LS-DYNA. A metal tube wrapped fiberglass epoxy composite outside (called “composite tube” for short) was impacted in its axial direction in the simulation.
