Advanced Solid State Lasers, 1992 We have obtained dual-longitudinal-mode operation of a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser by simultaneous injection-seeding at two frequencies to produce pulses with modulation frequency discretely tunable from 185 MHz to greater than 17 GHz.

FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Long‐term hippocampal alterations and cognitive impairment in a murine model of surgical sepsis
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Using a mouse model of surgical sepsis, we tested long‐term memory and analyzed the transcriptome of single cells isolated from the hippocampus. Survivor mice showed worse memory, loss of certain brain cell subpopulations, and abnormal immune cell activity—suggesting that post‐sepsis brain alterations may be linked to cognitive deficits.

Physical Review D, 1976 We examine the massless limit of a model for the massive relativistic Nambu string. The system possesses longitudinal kink modes excluded from the standard lightlike gauge treatment. We demonstrate the equivalence of these modes to those proposed by Patrascioiu.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Aging and Cancer, EarlyView.Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.
