Creep experiments at 900°C on coarse‐grained steel‐ceramic composites containing recycled magnesia reveal that higher ceramic volume fractions significantly enhance the creep resistance. Detailed EBSD investigations identify subgrain formation in the steel matrix as the dominant deformation mechanism.

On the longitudinal vibration of the railway bogie [PDF]
This paper examines the influence of the rebound longitudinal motion of the bogie upon the vibration behaviour in the bogie. The analysis is based on the results of the numerical simulations developed on the basis of a general model with a nine-degree ...

Study of longitudinal vibrations of stab knife refiners [PDF]
The subject of research is the longitudinal vibrations of stab knife refiners. A model of the fibrous layer between the rotor and stator is developed. It is shown that it is advisable to use the Maxwell-Thomson model for liquid friction of the rotor and ...

Bond-Bending and Bond-Stretching Phonons in Ferromagnetic La_0.7Sr_0.3MnO_3
Longitudinal optical phonons with oxygen character were measured in La_0.7Sr_0.3MnO_3 by inelastic neutron scattering in the (1 0 0) cubic direction and results were compared with shell model predictions.

Dense Nanofibrillar Collagen–Silica Hybrids with High Strength and ECM‐Mimetic Tissue Integration
Dense nanofibrillar collagen–silica hybrids are engineered by synchronizing collagen fibrillogenesis with silica condensation, producing printable scaffolds that unexpectedly approach native extracellular matrix organization and strength. These cell‐free constructs guide endogenous cell‐infiltration, enable localized matrix remodeling, and integrate ...
