Multi-stakeholder initiatives as loosely coupled systems
This paper discusses the loosely coupled nature of multi-stakeholder initiatives (MSIs). Applying a concept from organization theory (i.e. loosely coupled systems logic) to research on collaborative governance in the context of corporate responsibility ...

Distributed Interior-point Method for Loosely Coupled Problems
In this paper, we put forth distributed algorithms for solving loosely coupled unconstrained and constrained optimization problems. Such problems are usually solved using algorithms that are based on a combination of decomposition and first order methods.

Top‐down organic pillaring expands the interlayer spacing of bulk‐sized MoS2 particles while preserving the bulk morphology. Operando X‐ray diffraction and electrochemical dilatometry show that MoS2‐bulk undergoes solvent co‐intercalation in diglyme electrolyte, causing large structural expansion, while pillared, expanded MoS2 suppresses solvent uptake

Two-Step Trajectory Spoofing Algorithm for Loosely Coupled GNSS/IMU and NIS Sequence Detection
Satellite navigation spoofing has become a central issue of jamming technology research because of its serious threat and ability to conceal itself. Increasingly, targets are equipped with more robust GNSS/IMU systems and normalized innovation squared ...

Sulfur‐doped graphitized carbon nanofibers act as adaptive catalyst–support platforms, enabling dynamic sulfur‐mediated reconstruction and strong metal–support interactions. This unique behavior enhances catalyst stability and controls reaction pathways, achieving highly selective urea oxidation (∼92% N2) coupled with efficient hydrogen evolution ...

Coagulative granular hydrogels are composed of packed thrombin‐functionalized microgels that catalyze the conversion of fibrinogen into a secondary fibrin network, filling the interstitial voids. This bio‐inspired approach stabilizes the biomaterial to match the robustness of bulk hydrogels without compromising injectability, mimicking the initial ...

Aqueous Two‐Phase Bioinks for Discrete Packing and Compartmentalization of 3D Bioprinted Cells
Aqueous two‐phase systems (ATPS) enable the formation of biomimetic interfaces crucial for tissue engineering. However, clinical translation remains limited by the challenge of precisely controlling cellular compartmentalization. Here, we developed ATPS biomaterial inks for 3D bioprinting allowing tuneable droplet formation via NaCl modulation.

Multidimensional Cellular Micro‐Compartments to Model Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Dormancy
Invasive lobular carcinoma (ILC) is an understudied subtype of breast cancer that is susceptible to late recurrences. In this study, micro‐compartmentalization techniques spanning multiple dimensions, including 2D, pseudo‐3D, and 3D, are integrated to uncover the mechanisms underlying ILC dormancy, revealing the central role of p27Kip1.
