Postnikov--Stanley polynomials are Lorentzian [PDF]

open access: yes
Postnikov--Stanley polynomials $D_u^w$ are a generalization of skew dual Schubert polynomials to the setting of arbitrary Weyl groups. We prove that Postnikov--Stanley polynomials are Lorentzian by showing that they are degree polynomials of Richardson ...

Synergistic W and V Doping Induce Defects and Thus a High Catalytic Surface Area in MoS2 for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Double doping with V and W of hydrothermal microwave‐grown MoS2 enhances the density of structural defects. It improves the ECSA and shifts the surface chemistry to an oxysulfide‐rich environment. The resulting VW‐doped MoS2 nanoflowers thus demonstrate robust electrocatalysis of hydrogen evolution.

Balancing Prediction Performance and Spectral Interpretability: Multimetric Guided Design of Raman Spectrum Preprocessing Pipelines to Transfer Single Compound Models to Bioprocess Data

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
Calibration models were trained using single‐compound Raman spectra of ethanol and glucose, and then transferred to bioprocess spectra. Preprocessing, optimized to meet a multimetric quality framework, enabled this transfer whilst preserving the characteristic bands and the chemical interpretability of the models.

Revealing the Resonant Physics of Open Photonic Time Crystals

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Photonic time crystals (PTCs) are media whose permittivity is modulated periodically in time, enabling momentum bandgaps and parametric amplification of light. Their realization at the nanoscale can revolutionize the study of light‐matter interactions.

Angle Bisectors of a Triangle in Lorentzian Plane

open access: yes, 2013
In Lorentzian geometry, limited definition of angles restricts the use of angle bisectors in study of triangles. This paper redefines angle bisectors so that they can be used to study attributes of triangles.

Rotational Anisotropy Raman Spectrometer for High‐Sensitivity Crystallographic Symmetry Analysis

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, EarlyView.
We introduce rotational‐anisotropy Raman spectroscopy, an enhanced scheme that overcomes the limitations of traditional polarization‐resolved Raman techniques. This method reveals previously inaccessible phonon symmetries and resolves directional anisotropy of phonon‐polaritons in benchmark crystals, establishing a powerful new tool for characterizing ...
