Memristive Physical Reservoir Computing
Memristors’ nonlinear dynamics and input‐dependent memory effects make them ideal candidates for high‐performance physical reservoir computing (RC). Based on their conductance modulation, memristors can be classified as electronic or optoelectronic types.

Rare‐Earth Yttrium Doping Advances High‐Performance AgSbTe2 Thermoelectrics
Y‐doped AgSbTe2 achieves band and microstructure co‐optimization, with coherent Y‐Ag2Te interfaces enhancing phonon scattering and reducing lattice thermal conductivity to 0.26 W m−1 K−1. Combined with valence‐band broadening and increased carrier concentration, this yields ZT ≈ 2 at 623 K, average ZT = 1.5, and 7.3 % conversion efficiency of a single ...

Heterogeneous Reservoir Characterization (Upper Bahariya Case study)
Upper Bahariya reservoir is one of the big productive reservoirs in the Western Desert (Egypt). It is characterized by high degree of heterogeneity. So, it is very important to characterize it accurately for improving its recoverable oil. Different tools

Parametric Lorenz Curves and the Modality of the Income Density Function [PDF]
Similar looking Lorenz Curves can imply very different income density functions and potentially lead to wrong policy implications regarding inequality. This paper derives a relation between a Lorenz Curve and the modality of its underlying income density:

Achieving Phonon‐Glass Electron‐Crystal Behavior in Fully Organic Flexible Thermoelectrics
Phonon‐glass Electron‐crystal (PGEC) behavior is demonstrated in fully organic composites consisting of conductive polymers (PEDOT:PSS) and soft polymeric fillers (PVA). The optimized PEDOT:PSS–PVA composite concurrently reveals delocalized transport and thermal conductivity close to its theoretical minimum, yielding a superior thermoelectric figure of

Flexible n‐type Bi2Te3 thin films require improved room‐temperature figure of merit (ZT) and mechanical stability. We show that synergistic Bi–Te antisite tuning and crystalline–amorphous hybridization optimizes carrier concentration, mobility, and phonon scattering.

The approach of physical in materia computing incorporates parallel computing within the medium itself. A scalable and energy‐efficient, oxide‐based computational platform is realized in form of a nanoporous network of volatile niobium oxide memristors sandwiched between top and bottom metallic electrodes, and then tested for prediction and ...

Estimating Lorenz Curves Using a Dirichlet Distribution. [PDF]
The Lorenz curve relates the cumulative proportion of income to the cumulative proportion of population. When a particular functional form of the Lorenz curve is specified it is typically estimated by linear or nonlinear least squares, estimation ...
