A Self-Adaptable High Pressure Bearing Plugging Agent for Synthetic-Based Drilling Fluid in Shallow Extended-Reach Well Drilling in Bohai

open access: yesZuanjingye yu wanjingye
The direction in which the properties of the self-adaptable high pressure bearing plugging agent are specifically optimized is understood by analyzing the lost circulation scenarios occurring in shallow extended-reach well drilling in Bohai area, that is,

FOXP1 Knockdown Reprograms Th9 CAR‐T Cells to Overcome Antigen Escape

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
FOXP1 knockdown enhances Th9 CAR‐T cell function by promoting IL‐9 production, effector activation, and reduced exhaustion. Reprogrammed Th9 CAR‐T cells strengthen direct tumor killing and activate endogenous antitumor immunity through dendritic cells and CD8+ T cells, thereby suppressing both antigen‐positive and antigen‐loss tumor growth and ...

Understanding Lost Circulation While Cementing: Field Study and Laboratory Research

open access: yes, 2018
Summary Lost circulation is a time-consuming and expensive challenge, costing the oil and gas industry billions of dollars each year in materials, nonproductive time, and minimized production (Catalin et al. 2003; Fidan et al. 2004; API 65-

Intelligent Programmable Membrane Nanosponge for Early Virus Blocking

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A smart programmable nanosponge (ACNPs) displays high‐density viral receptors on its membrane and encapsulates fusion inhibitors to capture virions at the infection source through competitive binding and blocks their entry through protease inhibition for ultra‐early cascade interception. This modular, mucus‐penetrating platform shifts antiviral defence

Experimental investigation of deformable additives as loss circulation control agent during drilling and well construction

open access: yesScientific Reports
Lost circulation is known as one of the most important challenges during drilling. In addition to high costs due to mud loss and nonproductive time, lost circulation may lead to several consequences, including stuck pipes, wellbore collapse, poor hole ...

Dual‐Target Nectin‐4/FAP Heterobivalent Probe 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1 for Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer: Preclinical Theranostic Evaluation and First‐in‐Human Translation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel hetero‐bivalent agent, 68Ga/177Lu‐FZ‐NF‐1, concurrently targets Nectin‐4 and FAP in triple‐negative breast cancer. It yields significant preclinical tumor regression and clinically identifies additional metastatic lesions missed by 18F‐FDG PET, demonstrating promising theranostic potential for personalized management.

Evaluation of Lost Circulation Material Sealing for Geothermal Drilling

open access: yesEnergies
Lost circulation is a pervasive problem in geothermal wells that can create prohibitive costs during drilling. The main issue with treatment is that the mechanism of plug formation is poorly understood. Here we applied two experimental approaches to characterize the clogging effectiveness of different materials.

Investigation of lost circulation materials impact on fracture gradient [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Lost circulation is a challenging problem to be prevented or mitigated during drilling. Lost circulation treatments are widely applied to mitigate losses using a corrective approach or to prevent losses using preventive approaches, also known as ...

Self‐Assembling Peptide‐Adjuvant Conjugate (SaPAC) Platform for Precision Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A self‐assembling peptide–adjuvant conjugate links neoantigens to TLR7 agonism, forming cationic nanoparticles that enhance lymph‐node retention, dendritic‐cell activation, and antitumor T‐cell immunity. This chemically defined platform shows how synchronized antigen and innate stimulation can be adapted across melanoma, bladder cancer, and triple ...

Lost circulation in geothermal wells: research and development status

open access: yes, 1985
The most common severe problems encountered in drilling and completing geothermal wells are lost circulation (loss of fluid returns to the surface), stuck pipe, and inadequate cementing.
