Lost circulation experimental study in oil based mud and analyzing experimental data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Master's thesis in Petroleum engineeringThe problem of lost circulation have for a long time occurred during the drilling operation. During the drilling through induced and natural fractures, huge drilling fluid losses lead to the higher operational ...

ROS‐Responsive Nanoparticle Delivery of Dexmedetomidine Protects the Gut Vascular Barrier After Intestinal Ischemia/Reperfusion via the HDAC‐H3K27ac‐TCF4 Axis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A low dose of dexmedetomidine, delivered by ROS‐responsive nanoparticles, preferentially accumulates in the ischemic intestine and restores gut vascular barrier integrity after ischemia/reperfusion injury. This nanoparticle‐based strategy prevents bacterial translocation and liver damage without cardiorespiratory side effects, working through HDAC ...

Aryl‐Tethered Pendant Sterically Shielded Imidazoliums for Durable Anion Exchange Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An aryl‐tethered, sterically shielded imidazolium architecture protects cationic sites from hydroxide attack while avoiding vulnerable benzylic cation–polymer linkages. Incorporated into poly(arylimidazolium) membranes, this dual‐protection design enhances alkaline and oxidative durability and supports prolonged alkaline water electrolysis, offering a ...

Designing lost circulation pills for polymer based drill-in fluids

open access: yes, 2008
Specially designed non-damaging lost circulation pills (LCP) are being effectively applied for drilling depleted zones worldwide. Optimizing the LCP compositions stop the lost circulation effectively and protect the production zone from liquid and solids

PLXDC2 siRNA‐Mediated Intervention Attenuates Microglial Senescence Through cGAS‐STING Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PLXDC2 was identified as a microglial target in Parkinson's disease through human and mouse single‐cell analyses. Ferritin‐armed biomimetic nanovesicles delivered PLXDC2 siRNA, deferoxamine, and CeO2 nanoparticles across the blood–brain barrier, reducing cGAS‐STING activation, iron burden, oxidative stress, and senescence in microglia, thereby ...

The Effect of Lost Circulation Material on Herschel-Bulkley Parameters

open access: yes, 2023
To hinder loss of drilling fluids into downhole formations while drilling geothermal, CO2 injection or petroleum wells, Lost Circulation Material (LCM) is added to the drilling fluids. These materials consist of many granular, fibrous, and flaky materials.

Lost circulation technology development projects [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Lost circulation is the phenomenon where circulating drilling fluid is lost to fractures or pores in the rock formation rather than returning to the surface through the wellbore annulus.

Neuron‐Derived Vesicular circMagi1 Restrains Vascular Repair After Ischemic Stroke by Promoting TRIM65‐Mediated ANXA2 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
After ischemic stroke, injured neurons transfer circMagi1 to endothelial cells through extracellular vesicles. Within endothelial cells, circMagi1 binds ANXA2 and enhances its engagement with TRIM65, promoting ANXA2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation to constrain angiogenic repair.

Printing‐Assisted Integration of Thermal, Fluidic and Electrical Components in Implants for Focal Brain Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Extrusion‐based 3D printing of silicones and discrete electronic components are combined to create cortical implants for rodents that integrate thermal neuromodulation and electrical recording. Linked to an autonomous auxiliary driver unit, the system enables rapid, stable and localized hypothermia alongside ECoG recording.
