From Single Atoms to Nanoparticles: Pathways Toward Efficient and Durable Pt/TiO2 Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 44, 1 June 2026.
Platinum single atoms on TiO2 nanosheets evolve into clusters and nanoparticles under ethanol photoreforming and thermal treatments. By controlling deposition and post‐treatments, particle size and location on specific facets are modulated. The study reveals how stability pathways determine efficiency, guiding the design of more durable photocatalysts.

Swarm intelligence for scheduling: a review [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Swarm Intelligence generally refers to a problem-solving ability that emerges from the interaction of simple information-processing units. The concept of Swarm suggests multiplicity, distribution, stochasticity, randomness, and messiness.

Optoelectronic Synaptic Devices Using Molecular Telluride Phase‐Change Inks for Three‐Factor Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.

Scheduling Bi-Objective Lot-Streaming Hybrid Flow Shops with Consistent Sublots via an Enhanced Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm

open access: yesComplex System Modeling and Simulation
This work addresses bi-objective hybrid flow shop scheduling problems considering consistent sublots (Bi-HFSP_CS). The objectives are to minimize the makespan and total energy consumption.

Adaptive fuzzy particle swarm optimization for flow-shop scheduling problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Ovaj rad razmatra novi pristup problemu raspoređivanja u protočnoj proizvodnji korištenjem kombinacije neizrazite logike i optimizacije rojevima čestica u cilju postizanja sub-optimalnog rješenja.
