Information-driven modeling of large macromolecular assemblies using NMR data
Availability of high-resolution atomic structures is one of the prerequisites for a mechanistic understanding of biomolecular function. This atomic information can, however, be difficult to acquire for interesting systems such as high molecular weight ...

Multidimensional Profiling of MRI‐Negative Temporal Lobe Epilepsy Uncovers Distinct Phenotypes
ABSTRACT Objective Although hippocampal sclerosis (TLE‐HS) represents the most frequent cause of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE), up to 30% of patients show no lesion on visual MRI inspection (TLE‐MRIneg). These cases pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges and are underrepresented in surgical series.

Application of Benchtop NMR for Metabolomics Study Using Feces of Mice with DSS-Induced Colitis
Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)-based metabolomics, which comprehensively measures metabolites in biological systems and investigates their response to various perturbations, is widely used in research to identify biomarkers and investigate the ...

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,

Proton NMR relaxometry as a useful tool to evaluate swelling processes in peat soils
Dramatic physical and physico-chemical changes in soil properties may arise due to temperature and moisture variations as well as swelling of soil organic matter (SOM) under constant conditions.

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) are promising hole‐transporting materials for organic photovoltaics (OPVs), but suffer from self‐aggregation and poor large‐area uniformity. We find that interfacial modification using nicotinic hydrazide can eliminate the residual SAM aggregates by forming energetically favorable complexes, yielding uniform SAM.
