ABSTRACT Background Primary pulmonary mesenchymal neoplasms with EWSR1::CREM fusion are rare. These lesions are challenging to diagnose by morphology and immunohistochemistry alone. Case A 66‐year‐old woman (ex‐smoker) was found to have a 1.3‐cm right lower lobe lung nodule that had grown very slowly over a 9‐year period.

Expression of oestrogen and progesterone receptors in low-grade endometrial stromal sarcomas [PDF]
We analysed oestrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) expression in a retrospective series of 21 low-grade endometrial stromal sarcomas (LGSSs). Archival formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded material was analysed by immunohistochemistry. ER and PR were measured with monoclonal antibodies and the peroxidase-antiperoxidase method and a score

A Case of Retroperitoneal Metastases That Occur 14 Years After Surgery
Endometrial Stromal Sarcomas are rare malignant tumours of the uterus. We report the case of incidental finding of Low-Grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma (LGESS) that metastasized to the retroperitoneum 14 years after the original surgery in a 72-year-old

Indications and Efficacy of Progestogen‐Monotherapy as Menopause Hormone Therapy: A Narrative Review
ABSTRACT Menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) remains the most effective treatment for vasomotor symptoms (VMS) and other manifestations of menopause; however, its use is limited in women with contraindications to oestrogen. Progestogen monotherapy, though historically underutilized, represents a viable alternative in this population. This narrative review

ABSTRACT Basophils, the least abundant leukocytes, are increasingly recognised as potent immunomodulators. Upon activation, they rapidly release preformed granule‐associated mediators including histamine and lipid mediators such as LTC4, while cytokine production occurs over a longer timescale, contributing to downstream immune responses.

SLAMF6 recruits SHP‐2 to activate STAT1, upregulates CXCL10 and PD‐L1, promotes CD8+T cell infiltration, and enhances the efficacy of anti‐PD‐L1 therapy. ABSTRACT As a T‐cell receptor co‐stimulatory protein, signaling lymphocyte activation molecule family 6 (SLAMF6) is a member of the immune cell activating receptor family and is expressed on T cells ...
