From Waste to Wealth: A Review of Eutectic Molten Salt Method for Direct Regeneration of Spent Lithium‐Ion Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The main process of the eutectic molten salt method and the direct regeneration of Spent lithium (Li)‐ion batteries by the eutectic molten salt method have brought structural, performance, environmental, and economic benefits. Abstract The rapid growth of electric vehicles (EVs) has significantly increased the demand for lithium (Li)‐ion batteries ...

Immunocompatible Elastomer With Enhanced Fibrous Capsule‐Resistance and Elasticity by Water‐Induced Surface Phase Reconfiguration.

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a strategy for engineering heterogeneous surface and bulk structures within a single material, termed phase‐separation and underwater reconfiguration‐enhanced (PURE) elastomers. These elastomers combine high bulk elasticity with enhanced immunocompatibility at the surface.

Ternary Molecular Co‐Assembling Heterogeneous Membranes for High‐Efficiency and Anti‐Biofouling Osmotic Energy Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A new strategy based on ternary molecular co‐assembly for the facile construction of nanofluidic membranes is presented. The membrane exhibits asymmetric nanochannels that facilitate anion‐selective transport, achieving an osmotic energy harvesting performance of 16.6 W·m−2 and a superior anti‐biofouling activity in natural waters.

Polymer‐Driven Co‐Assembly of Achiral and Chiral Nanoparticles into Plasmonic Nanoclusters with Quantitatively Modulated Optical Chirality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work describes the polymer‐mediated co‐assembly of chiral gold nanoarrows and achiral nanospheres into ABn plasmonic clusters enabling precise control over coordination number (n = 2–7) via pH modulation. Experimental and simulation results reveal a linear enhancement of optical chirality (g‐factor) with increasing n, attributed to electric field ...

Precise Modulation of Reorganization Energy through Methyl Substitution for High Performance Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reports the design of quinoxaline‐based electron acceptors with tailored methyl and halogen substitutions to modulate reorganization energy (λ) and enhance charge transport. we demonstrated that methylation effectively reduces λ, leading to minimized energy losses and improved device performance.
