A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Low-rank tensor completion using nonconvex total variation
In this work, we study the tensor completion problem in which the main point is to predict the missing values in visual data. To greatly benefit from the smoothness structure and edge-preserving property in visual images, we suggest a tensor completion model that seeks gradient sparsity via the l0-norm.

Curvature‐tuned auxetic lattices are designed, fabricated, and mechanically characterized to reveal how geometric curvature governs stretchability, stress redistribution, and Poisson's ratio evolution. Photoelastic experiments visualize stress pathways, while hyperelastic simulations quantify deformation mechanics.

Low-rank Tensor Grid for Image Completion
Tensor completion estimates missing components by exploiting the low-rank structure of multi-way data. The recently proposed methods based on tensor train (TT) and tensor ring (TR) show better performance in image recovery than classical ones. Compared with TT and TR, the projected entangled pair state (PEPS), which is also called tensor grid (TG ...

In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Traffic Flow Prediction With Missing Data Imputed by Tensor Completion Methods
Missing data is inevitable and ubiquitous in intelligent transportation systems (ITSs). A handful of completion methods have been proposed, among which the tensor-based models have been shown to be the most advantageous for missing traffic data ...
