Multimode Oxide‐Based Optoelectronic Memtransistor for In‐Sensor Vision Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multimode optoelectronic memtransistor (OEMT) is demonstrated for vision explainable artificial intelligence (VXAI) hardware. By integrating optical sensing, electrical masking, and non‐volatile memory, the device enables key operations required for generating saliency information.

Mechanistic Control of C─H Bond Activation and C─C Coupling in Light‐Driven Methane Conversion to C2+ Products over Multifunctional Photocatalysts

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Methane photocatalytic activation under mild conditions remains a formidable challenge in the synthesis of solar fuels. In this review, we emphasize the growing importance of multifunctional materials and hybrid systems within a unified mechanistic framework that integrates selective C─H bond activation, formation and control of intermediates, C─C ...

Are Low-Cost Carriers a Bargain?

Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, 2008
Low-cost carriers (LCCs) are now a worldwide phenomenon, and Southeast Asia has a significant number of rapidly growing carriers. Ticket price is the main feature that attracts public and media attention. Although the Southeast Asian LCCs declare that they offer the cheapest tickets, there is no solid evidence that their average prices are indeed the ...

What makes the difference between a low-cost carrier airport and a low-cost carrier base?

Research in Transportation Business & Management, 2016
The liberalization of the European air transport market has enabled airlines to expand their networks substantially throughout the continent. In particular, low-cost carriers (LCCs) did so by rapidly expanding their number of bases in countries all over Europe.
