Light‐Responsive Enzyme‐Loaded Nanoparticles for Tunable Adhesion and Mechanical Wound Contraction
This study presents a photoactivatable enzyme‐loaded mesoporous nanoparticle system (MPDA_PaTy) that enables light‐triggered tunable tissue adhesion and facilitates mechanical wound contraction. Controlled enzymatic crosslinking at tissue or hydrogel interfaces allows on‐demand adhesion.

Tailoring the Properties of Functional Materials With N‐Oxides
The properties of materials bearing N‐oxide groups are often dominated by the polar N+─O− bond. It provides hydrophilicity, selective ion‐binding, electric conductivity, or antifouling properties. Many of the underlying mechanisms have only recently been discovered, and the interest in N‐oxide materials is rapidly growing.

The pyrene and ether groups are incorporated into the covalent triazine polymer (CTP) structure. The synergistic effect of the two functional groups endows CTP with better electron transfer, light absorption, and oxygen activation properties. An impressive apparent quantum yield (13.2% @420 nm) and a remarkable solar‐to‐chemical conversion efficiency ...

Discovery and validation of an NMR-based metabolomic profile in urine as TB biomarker
Despite efforts to improve tuberculosis (TB) detection, limitations in access, quality and timeliness of diagnostic services in low- and middle-income countries are challenging for current TB diagnostics.

Magnetization profiles and NMR spectra of doped Haldane chains at finite temperatures
Open segments of S=1 antiferromagnetic spin chains are studied at finite temperatures and fields using continuous time Quantum Monte Carlo techniques. By calculating the resulting magnetization profiles for a large range of chain lengths with fixed field

Molecular engineering of a nonconjugated radical polymer enables a significant enhancement of the glass transition temperature. The amorphous nature and tunability of the polymer, arising from its nonconjugated backbone, facilitates the fabrication of organic memristive devices with an exceptionally high yield (>95%), as well as substantial ...

Experimental Analysis of Pore and Permeability Characteristics of Coal by Low-Field NMR
On the basis of the complexity of the pore structure characteristics of a coal reservoir, coal samples with different ranks were selected to study the difference in pore structures and permeability using nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), scanning ...

NMR relaxation rate in the field-induced octupolar liquid phase of spin-1/2 J1-J2 frustrated chains
In the spin-1/2 frustrated chain with nearest-neighbor ferromagnetic exchange J1 and next-nearest-neighbor antiferromagnetic exchange J2 under magnetic field, magnetic multipolar-liquid (quadrupolar, octupolar, and hexadecapolar) phases are widely ...
