Spin-modulated quasi-1D antiferromagnet LiCuVO_4

open access: yes, 2007
We report on magnetic resonance studies within the magnetically ordered phase of the quasi-1D antiferromagnet LiCuVO_4. Our studies reveal a spin reorientational transition at a magnetic field H_c1 ~ 25 kOe applied within the crystallographical (ab ...

Smooth deconvolution of low-field NMR signals

open access: yesAnalytica Chimica Acta
Low resolution nuclear magnetic resonance (LR-NMR) is a common technique to identify the constituents of complex materials (such as food and biological samples). The output of LR-NMR experiments is a relaxation signal which can be modelled as a type of convolution of an unknown density of relaxation times with decaying exponential functions, plus ...

Organic Electrochemical Transistor Channel Materials: Copolymerization Versus Physical Mixing of Glycolated and Alkoxylated Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work discusses the use of blended channel materials in OECTs. It explores how mixing glycolated and alkoxylated polymers in various ratios offers a simpler and more efficient route to tuning OECT properties. The performance of the polymer blends is compared to the corresponding copolymers, demonstrating similar OECT characteristics, swelling ...

Analysis of Early Performance of Cement Paste by Low Field NMR

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
The change of the evaporable water content in the early hydration process of cement paste with different water-to-cement ratios was monitored by low field nuclear magnetic resonance (LF-NMR) relaxometry.

Spin gap and Luttinger liquid description of the NMR relaxation in carbon nanotubes

open access: yes, 2007
Recent NMR experiments by Singer et al. [Singer et al. Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 236403 (2005).] showed a deviation from Fermi-liquid behavior in carbon nanotubes with an energy gap evident at low temperatures.

Low‐field NMR for quality control on oils

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Chemistry, 2019
AbstractOil is a prominent, but multifaceted material class with a wide variety of applications. Technical oils, crude oils as well as edibles are main subclasses. In this review, the question is addressed how low‐field NMR can contribute in oil characterization as an analytical tool, mainly with respect to quality control.

Ferrocene Derivatives Enable Ultrasensitive Perovskite Photodetectors with Enhanced Reverse Bias Stability

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Novel ferrocene derivatives (e.g., FcPhc2) are used as an ultrathin layer hole‐blocking layer, reducing hole injection from the Ag contact. This results in an ultralow noise spectral density of 1.2 × 10−14 A Hz−1/2, and a high specific detectivity of 8.1 × 1012 Jones at −0.5 V.

The \u3csup\u3e13\u3c/sup\u3eC-NMR Solid State Spectroscopy of Various Classes of Coals [PDF]

open access: yes, 1978
The 13C-NMR spectra of various classes of coal obtained in the solid state show two resonances, one of which is assigned to aromatic carbon and the other to aliphatic carbon. The resonances are very broad with the high field resonance centered at about 7
