Low-frequency, low-distortion digital quadrature oscillator
Journal of Physics E: Scientific Instruments, 1989Digital recursive and non-recursive filtering techniques have both been exploited to build a low-frequency (0.5-50 Hz), low-distortion digital quadrature oscillator. This generator shows an amplitude constant to within 0.3% over the frequency range, and the quadrature phase error is within +or-0.05 degrees .

Low-frequency diffusion flame oscillations
Combustion and Flame, 1975Abstract The low-frequency oscillation that is characteristic of small-scale diffusion flames is also shown to dominate the so-called turbulent flamebrush even at flowrates high enough to lift the flame from the burner. For free diffusion flames, the frequency of oscillation is always of the order of 10 Hz and is not affected by either the dimensions

Amplitude stabilized low frequency oscillator†
International Journal of Electronics, 1972Abstract The paper describes an amplitude stabilized very low frequency sinusoidal oscillator generating a frequency as low as 0.01 Hz. It uses a second-order all-pass network and an operational amplifier interconnected in a feedback loop to form a highly selective amplifier.

Thermally induced low-frequency oscillations
ZAMP Zeitschrift fr angewandte Mathematik und Physik, 1985This paper discusses nonlinear thermally induced oscillations in quasi- one dimensional flows in ducts. In practice such oscillations are frequently observed in furnaces and combustion chambers. The problem considered involves entropy disturbances which are convected through a nozzle at the end of a tube, thereby producing an acoustic wave which ...

A Practical Approach to Mitigate Low-Frequency Oscillation in Railway Electrification Systems
IEEE transactions on power electronics, 2018The low-frequency oscillation (LFO) phenomenon has frequently happened in the railway electrification systems (RES), which often caused the traction atresia of electric trains and protection malfunction of traction network.
