COERCIVE FORCE IN THE SYSTEM OF FERROMAGNETIC GRANULES FOR HALF METAL CrO2 WITH PERCOLATION CONDUCTIVITY

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2017
Magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of several samples of compacted powders of ferromagnetic half-metal CrO2, consisting of needle-shaped or spherical nanoparticles coated with thin dielectric shells, were investigated in wide temperature range. The

Platinum nanoparticle-decorated carbon nanowall anodes fabricated via top-down approach for abiotic glucose fuel cells

open access: yesScientific Reports
A glucose fuel cell (GFC) was fabricated using abiotic catalysts supported on carbon nanowalls (CNWs) as the anode electrode. The CNWs were immobilized on a 50 nm-thick patterned Pt thin film and selectively grown on the unmasked regions of heat ...

Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Structural phase transition in La2/3Ba1/3MnO3 perovskite: Elastic, magnetic, and lattice anomalies and microscopic mechanism

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2015
The temperature dependences of the elastic and magnetic properties of polycrystalline perovskite manganite La2/3Ba1/3MnO3 were studied using ultrasonic and SQUID magnetometer techniques.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

THE LATTICE PARAMETERS AND RESIDUAL STRESSES IN BULK NANOCRYSTALLINE AND ULTRAFINE-GRAINED TITANIUM

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2017
Lattice parameters and residual stresses in the bulk nanocrystalline/ultrafine-grained titanium were studied by X-ray diffraction methods. The investigated samples were prepared using the method of the cryomechanical grain structure fragmentation with ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Multifactor Coupling Effects on Permeability Evolution During Reinjection in Sandstone Geothermal Reservoirs: Insights from Dynamic Core Flow Experiments

open access: yesEnergies
Efficient reinjection is critical for maintaining reservoir pressure and ensuring the sustainable development of sandstone geothermal systems. However, complex thermal–hydraulic–chemical (THC) interactions often lead to progressive permeability reduction,
