Recent medical and surgical advances in diagnosis and treatment are adding to the increasing numbers of partially sighted persons. Low-Vision Aids in Stargardt’s Disease
Ophthalmologica, 1991The use of low-vision-aids (LVAs) to improve distance and near visual acuity was evaluated in 27 patients. Most of the patients had a useful distance vision with or without glasses, and 24 patients (89%) were prescribed a near visual aid successfully.
