Systematization of Low-Vision Care in Hospitals.
JAPANESE ORTHOPTIC JOURNAL, 1999 ロービジョンケアをロービジョン者がセルフケア出来るための援助として捉え病院内におけるロービジョンケア体系化を試み、その有用性について検討した。対象は当院に通院しているロービジョン者で、平成9年1月～平成10年3月までロービジョンケアを行なった患者18名である。最初に視機能検査を行い、次に「見え方紹介カード」(弱視問題研究会作成)をもとに独自に作成した見え方チェックリストにより自覚的障害程度と、心理状態を把握し、この結果をセルフケアに焦点をあて図示した「ロービジョン者の変化の過程」にあてはめ、ステップ1～3に段階づけした。心理的援助、情報提供、技術的援助の各項目を「ロービジョンケア」として整理しこれら2つの項目を関連させ「ロービジョンケアの体系」として図示し、これにそって、ロービジョンケアを提供した ...

JAPANESE ORTHOPTIC JOURNAL, 1993 ロービジョンの範囲は福祉や教育に関する法律で定められているが,その目的により基準はさまざまである.われわれはロービジョンを「視覚による生活(教育)が可能であるが補助具の使用などなんらかの配慮が必要なもの」と捉え,ケアの対象としている.ロービジョンケアの目的は視覚的能力障害の軽減である.専門的な補助具や特殊な機器,さらには歩行訓練や生活訓練などはロービジョンの専門機関や関連施設に委ねられるものであるが,比較的簡易な補助具の指導は一般の眼科外来で可能である.補助具の選定・指導にあたっては,視力値のみでなく手技の正確性や速さにも留意し実用的なものを選択しなければならない.ロービジョンケアには関連情報の提供も含まれる.各種制度について伝えるだけでなく関連の諸施設についても紹介することが望ましい.
