Enhanced QKNorm normalization for neural transformers with the Lp norm

open access: yesCoRR
The normalization of query and key vectors is an essential part of the Transformer architecture. It ensures that learning is stable regardless of the scale of these vectors. Some normalization approaches are available. In this preliminary work, a generalization of the QKNorm normalization scheme is proposed.

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

On Kantorovich variant of Brass-Stancu operators

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this study, we deal with Kantorovich-type generalization of the Brass-Stancu operators. For the sequence of these operators, we study Lp{L}^{p}-convergence and give some upper estimates for the Lp{L}^{p}-norm of the approximation error via first-order

Room‐Temperature Skyrmionic Synapse in 2D Ferromagnet Fe3GaTe2 Operating via Collective Spin Texture Transformation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate a neuromorphic synapse in 2D Fe3GaTe2 flakes. The device operates via a current‐driven transformation from a skyrmion‐lattice to a stripe‐domain state, yielding a linear anomalous Hall resistance response with a tunable slope to enable multiply‐accumulate operations. Simulations confirm its viability in artificial neural networks.

Rational modules and higher order Cauchy transforms

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1981
We apply the higher order Cauchy transforms to describe the closures of rational modules with respect to the LP norms, the uniform norm and different Lipschitz norms on a compact set in the plane.

In Vivo Monitoring of Thrombo‐Inflammatory Biomarkers via Molecularly Imprinted Polymer‐Integrated Hydrogel Microneedles

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A wearable electrochemical microneedle patch integrates Prussian Blue redox transduction with molecularly imprinted polymer recognition for reagent‐free sampling and detection of thrombo‐inflammatory biomarkers in dermal interstitial fluid. The platform tracks thrombin and inflammatory cytokines with sensitive in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo performance,

Non-negative Matrix Factorization Parallel Optimization Algorithm Based on Lp-norm [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji kexue
Non-negative matrix factorization algorithm is an important tool for image clustering, data compression and feature extraction.Traditional non-negative matrix factorization algorithms mostly use Euclidean distance to measure reconstruction error, which has

Highly Entangled Bottlebrush Polymer Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Bottlebrush polymers are difficult to entangle, enabling ultrasoft yet brittle networks. We report highly entangled bottlebrush elastomers that remain ultrasoft (∼1 kPa) yet stretch to ∼1800% and exhibit exceptional fatigue resistance. Their intrinsic fatigue strength—fatigue threshold normalized by modulus—surpasses that of highly entangled linear ...

Sparse Autoregressive Modeling via the Least Absolute LP-Norm Penalized Solution

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The conventional autoregressive (AR) model has been widely applied in the various electroencephalogram (EEG) analyses such as spectrum estimation, waveform fittings, and in classification tasks. Nevertheless, evoked EEG is usually inevitably contaminated

Metal Oxide Nano‐Interface Boosting the Deep Ultraviolet Adjustable Noise‐Filtering In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We show that sol‐gel‐fractured indium–magnesium oxide combines deep‐ultraviolet responsivity, high carrier mobility, and an excellent memory dynamic range. This unique materials platform enables deep‐ultraviolet long‐afterglow light‐emitting devices with multifunctional integration.
