LQG Graphon Mean Field Games: Graphon Invariant Subspaces
IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2020This paper studies approximate solutions to large-scale linear quadratic stochastic games with homogeneous nodal dynamics and heterogeneous network couplings based on the graphon mean field game framework in [1]–[3].

LQG control of an optical squeezer
Proceedings of the 2010 American Control Conference, 2010In this paper, we consider the application of linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG) control to the problem of optimizing the level of squeezing in one of the quadratures of an optical field. Squeezed states of light can be generated when two optical fields (at fundamental and second-harmonic frequencies) interact in an optical cavity in the presence of a ...

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1994
The paper outlines a 20–40 hour graduate course on the Linear–Quadratic–Gaussian theory and design of control systems. The prerequisites are linear systems, random signals, and an elementary control course. The emphasis is on the problem formulation in continuous time using state–space, the transformation to discrete time through sampling, the solution

LQG balancing and reduced LQG compensation of symmetric passive systems†
International Journal of Control, 1985In this paper, a technique for balancing a system in a closed-loop fashion is developed. This technique is referred to as ‘LQG balancing’, for it assumes that the system to be balanced is closed up with a standard LQG feedback loop. This paper focuses on LQG balancing of symmetric passive systems; such systems are used to model large vibrating ...

On the recovery procedure for LQG systems
Automatica, 1988The loop transfer function recovery (LTR) procedure of \textit{J. C. Doyle} and \textit{G. Stein} [IEEE Trans. Autom. Control AC-24, 607-611 (1979; Zbl 0412.93030)] is re-examined in the context of singular measurement LQG systems. Using existing closed form expressions for singular optimal estimation an alternative proof of the LTR is presented.

The optimal LQG controller is known to stabilize the closed loop if certain mild conditions are satisfied. The controller itself, however, may be unstable. The paper presents a method of selecting the weighting and covariance matrices such that the optimal controller is internally asymptotically stable.

MVO optimized hybrid FOFPID-LQG controller for load frequency control of an AC micro-grid system
, 2020This paper aims to implement a maiden methodology for load frequency control of an AC multi micro-grid (MG) by using hybrid fractional order fuzzy PID (FOFPID) controller and linear quadratic Gaussian (LQG).,The multi MG system considered is consisting ...

COMPARING LQG WITH THE LINEARIZED THEORY
International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2008We illustrate the conceptual scenario of the general boundary formulation for field theories and present a brief description of the calculus of graviton propagator in the context of LQG. Then we analyze the possibility of comparing this result with the graviton propagator in perturbative quantum gravity.

LQG/LTR Controller Design Based on Improved SFACC for the PWR Reactor Power Control System
, 2020The task of this investigation is to design a controller that has a strong robustness in various operating conditions. A new structure of state feedback assisted classical control (SFACC) that uses a differential lag compensator in the inner classical ...
